Are you using a remote server/ in an ASP environment?

  1. Yes – the network provider must add the website as an approved website in order to send and receive encrypted data packages, also known as Whitelisting or Trusted Domain

I can not delete a message in Verji


To delete messages in rooms, you must be registered with the role «admin». The person who has invited you into the room can change your role in the room.




What do the different settings in the room mean?


  • Default role

    • The role of new participants in the room is assigned.

  • Send messages

    • The role required to send messages.

  • Invite users

    • The role required to invite new users into the room.

  • Change settings

    • The role required to change room settings.

  • Kick users

    • The role required to kick users out of the room. A user who has been kicked out can be invited back into the room by participants who are authorized to invite users.

  • Ban users

    • The role required to exclude users from a room. A banned user can only be invited back from the person who banned the user.

  • Remove messages sent by others

    • The role required to delete messages.

  • Notify everyone

    • The role required to notify a message specifically. By starting a message with "@room", everyone in the room will be notified specifically about this message. In individual settings, there is an option to disable such alerts.

  • Change room avatar

    • The role required to change the room's avatar.

  • Change room name

    • The role required to change the name of the room.

  • Change permissions

    • The role required to change room settings.

  • Change topic

    • The role required to change the topic of conversation in the room.




How to change whether the message is sent when you press Enter or Ctrl+Enter?


  1. Click on your display name at the top left of the screen.

  2. Click All Settings.

  3. Click Preferences. Under the heading Composer choose to switch on or off Ctrl + Enter to send a message




How to switch between light and dark background colour?


  1. Click on your display name at the top left of the screen.
  2. Click on the circle that is half light and half dark.




How to resize text as well as reduce or increase the size of screen content?


  • To resize text. Click on your name in the upper left and select text size under All settings and Appearance.
  • To resize the screen contents. Hold down the CTRL key and press + or - to enlarge or reduce. If you have an external mouse with a wheel on, you can scroll on the wheel while CTRL is held down.
